Our Company
We trace our roots to Paper Handling Systems, Inc., which was incorporated in 1982. We have been the exclusive distributor of Pitney Bowes in the Philippines for 42 years now.
We have maintained and supported the “Biggest Volume Billers” in the Philippines for more than three decades. We are a single-source provider of enterprise messaging, integrating paper-based and digital messaging using solutions from Pitney Bowes.
Our Story
Our Milestones
Prior to its incorporation, our Chairman and CEO, Manuel SM. Santos, initiated the use of Postage Metered Machines at the counters of the Bureau of Post of the Philippines using Pitney Bowes Machines, thereby creating their Postage Metered Machine Control Section.

The first Production Mail System was installed at one of the leading credit card companies in the Philippines, for the processing of their credit card as well as bank statements. Thereafter, Production Mail installations bloomed not only in credit card and banking industries, but also in Telecommunications, Utilities and even the Government Sector. Significantly, after realizing the benefits, a number of the installations re-ordered upgraded models. Currently maintaining inserting systems for approximately 18 million mails a month. Keeps an inventory of parts depot supporting more than 20 console systems and desktop enveloping machines.
The Electronics Fund Management System (EFMS), was introduced at the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) using the Pitney Bowes Electronic Tax Imprinting Machine with Encryption for the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST). The system enabled taxpayers to load and reload DST payments by simply connecting the machine to a phone line. This gave BIR a more secure, reliable and convenient system in DST collection.

Our Team implemented Customer Communication Management Solution at one of the country’s leading telecommunications companies The module includes data integration, document creation, data transformation to print file, archiving with automatic indexing, and internal and external retrievals.
Pitney Bowes Intellilink Network was installed in our country’s postal authorities with more than 300 postage meters at the highest revenue collecting postal counters in the Philippines. Over a hundred postage meters are also installed at bank, insurance company and other government agencies for their mailing requirements.
Our team implemented the Bills Convergence Project of a leading telco company. Also started implementation of Pitney Bowes Customer Communication Management Solution with EngageOne Liaison at the Philippines’ leading water utility company.
Our team installed the fastest Letter Sorter at the speed of 45,000 sorted mails per hour to the postal authorities of the Philippines. Currently processing the National ID System for our country.
Our Team shared the country’s leading water utility company’s victory in receiving 3 Awards for best Customer Service from Quill Anvil, and IDC – thanks to the PB Software Solutions we installed in 2016.
Implemented a Disaster Recovery solution for Customer Communication Management System to a leading telecom company.
Installed 2 new MPS 26 (North Port) Production Mail Inserting Machines for a leading utility company’s bills production.
Implemented system enhancement to the Customer Communication Management System to cater the new product offering of the leading telecom company.
With the same leading telecom company, implemented additional retrieval engines to manage the increasing demand in online bills viewing.
The leading water utility company enhanced their Customer Communications Management by implementing Automated Customer Communication
Implementation of Vault Batch Retrieval for a leading telecom company.
Installed 2 new Hunkeler Post Processing Automated Fan-Fold Solution with Web Inspection Systems for a leading utility company’s bills production. Systems worked in tandem with Fujifilm’s FX1400 Printers.
Implementation of Digital Bill in PDF Output a leading utility company.
